Noodle City, Inc. Announces Name Change

Noodle City will now be Doragan Ramen

Ashland Ma— November 14, 2019— Noodle City, Inc. announced that they will be changing their name to Dorogan Ramen.

Chef & Owner Alan MacIntosh explains, “Doragon Ramen is the restaurants signature spicy ramen dish that draws people in from all over New England -It is incredibly spicy, and is offered in 3 levels using a variety of chilis from around the world, roasted in house.”

Wildly Successful First Year

The first year was a whirlwind of success and challenges. Within the first few months Noodle City was visited (and received great reviews) by the Phantom Gourmet, Boston Globe, Taste of Massachusetts, and Metrowest Daily News!

Their philosophy was simple, use the best quality, local ingredients to prepare, authentic and traditional food for their customers.

Partners and Co-Chefs Alan MacIntosh and Paponake MacIntosh started Noodle City together with their good friend Mayra Ramirez from Mexico City Taqueria. Just before Noodle City’s one year anniversary Alan MacIntosh bought out Mayra’s interest in the business.

As part of their success, and shift in ownership, they have decided to rebrand the restaurant, changing the name from Noodle City to Doragon Ramen.

Chef MacIntosh is also excited to announce that the Hellfire Ramen Challenge is back - Contestants have to endure a small order of hellfire wings with a bowl of Doragon Gouka ramen, and finish within 30 minutes! Winners receive a T-Shirt that says “I Slayed the Fire Breathing Ramen at Doragon Ramen!” Winners also receive a $50 gift card and their photo on the website!

As the rebranding continues from Noodle City to Doragon Ramen, Chefs Alan & Paponake want to let everyone know that nothing else has changed, that customers can expect to find the same, high quality, authentic, traditional Ramen, Wings and other dishes they have come to know and love!
